Pearl Vision kits feature the controlled punch of birch-ply shells (except VMX) with 6-ply 7.5mm-thick rack toms for incredible sensitivity and tone, and 8-ply 10mm-thick floor toms and bass drums for high-energy power and punch, giving Vision the widest possible dynamic range and musicality available at such an affordable price range.

Vision drumsets feature two very different shell thicknesses: 6 plies on rack toms and 8 plies on bass and floor toms, for incredibly balanced sound. Lower frequencies require greater energy to project equally to match the higher frequencies produced by smaller drums. Vision's unique 6/8 technology makes this possible. Vision's exclusive two-ply heads are easier to tune, and deliver full, powerful sound right out of the box. With the exception of the Vision Maple VMX, Vision drumsets feature Pearl's M.I.P.A. award-winning 900 series hardware. From the Birch Ply shell of VX to the 100% Maple shell of VMX, Vision is the next level perfection for the drummer who can tell the difference.
