Pearl Forum FZ Series Drums are constructed of 6-ply, 7.5mm Poplar shells. Discover the warmth and richness of the new Pearl Forum Series, usually found in more expensive drums. These Forums feature Pearl's exclusive scarf joint, a gapless seam construction providing uniform shell vibration unimpeded by air pockets.
As with all Pearl drums each shell is formed from their legendary SST construction process that uses extreme heat, Pearl's proprietary Acoustiglue, and over 1000 pounds of hydraulic pressure to create the ultimate acoustic air chamber.
Other features include new low mass lug design for optimum tonality and resonance, Perimeter EQ Bass Drum Heads, I.S.S. Tom Mounting System, improved cymbals, black or chrome hardware, and five stunning new finishes.
