The all new Vision Series kits feature multi-ply Birch shells for a dynamic range unmatched at its price. This new generation of drums, inspired by the Reference Series, feature 6-ply rack toms with incredible sensitivity and tone, 8-ply floor toms and bass drums for power and punch, Pearl's legendary chrome-plated SensiTone snare drum, and 900 Series double-braced hardware with improved stability and adjustability.
With their new Vision Series Pearl has done the impossible, improve on every aspect of the world renowned Export series drums without raising the price! The first kit constructed in Pearl's new, state of the art facility is also the first to offer a limited lifetime warranty. This new generation of drums is inspired by Pearl's Masterworks and Reference Series and features the controlled punch of birch-ply shells with 6-ply 7.5mm-thick rack toms for incredible sensitivity and tone, and 8-ply 10mm-thick floor toms and bass drums for high-energy power and punch, giving Vision the widest possible dynamic range and musicality available at such an affordable price range.
Vision kits include Pearl's beautiful, chrome-plated, beaded steel 5 1/2" x 14" SensiTone snare drum with SR-900 Dual-Motion strainer delivering superior sensitivity, tone and projection, and supporting both side lever action and Gladstone-type front lever action.
Newly designed lugs include precision-machined brass swivel nuts with zero-play for smooth, pinpoint tuning, and the bass drum claws are die cast with a rubber lining to protect the finish on the wood hoops. The floor toms feature Pearl's FTB-200 leg brackets with an extra large hinged clamping surface to reduce slipping, and the matching FTL-200 legs are smooth, allowing easy adjustments and removal, and featuring Pearl's patented Air Suspension feet for maximum resonance and sustain. Vision bass drums feature Pearl's new BB-300 bridge-style bass bracket which minimizes shell contact while maximizing resonance. All rack toms feature I.S.S. suspension tom holders with Pearl's newly-designed BT-300 tom brackets for maximum sustain and projection. TH-900 tom arms are infinitely adjustable for super-fine tom angles and placement, with hinged stop-locks which can be reversed while keeping the toms attached. BSP-300 spurs feature telescopic height adjustment, spike/rubber tips for slip resistance, and a fold-away design for easy set-up and transport.
The Vision Series includes Pearl's latest 900 Series hardware with double braced stands, improved stability and super quiet performance. The VSX features genuine Delmar premium coverings with matching bass drum hoops.
